AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2660-1971, AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2440-1969, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
A "SPECIAL USE" FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT IN A R-2 SIN-
GLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT OF ORDINANCE NO, 2325-1968
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICH-
MOND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of December 1969, the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, enacted Ordinance No. 2440-1969, and on
the 21st day of February 1972, the Common Council of the City of
Richmond amended said Ordinance by enacting Ordinance No. 2660-
1971; and
WHEREAS, Article 45.00 of Ordinance No. 2325-1968, commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, provides that
the plan for development of said Planned Unit Development .be ap-
proved as a part of the Ordinance thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana, has secured an agreement for the
purchase of a certain tract of land in said Planned Unit Develop-
ment for the purpose of constructing a City Fire Station, subject
to obtaining proper zoning and necessary permits thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is now therefore necessary to alter a portion of said plans of
Ordinance No. 2440-1969, as amended by Ordinance No. 2660-1971, to
provide for the construction thereof a City Fire Station;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that Ordinance No. 2440-1969, as amended by Ordinance No.
2660-1971, is amended to permit the construction of a City Fire
Station on the following described property, which is a portion of
the aforementioned Planned Unit Development:
Being a part of the Southeast quarter of Section 20, Township
14 North, Range 1 West, in Wayne County, Richmond, Ind-
iana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north right-of-way of Wind-
ing Ridge Drive 624.17 feet south and south 89 degrees
49 minutes, west 290 feet of the Northeast corner of the
said Southeast quarter; thence south 89 degrees, 49 min-
utes, west 125 feet to a point; thence north parallel
with the east line of said quarter section 199.5 feet to
a point; thence east 125 feet to a point; thence south
parallel with said east section line to the place of be-
ginning. Containing an area of 0,572 acre, more or less,
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval by the Mayor and publications as by law required.
