Ribbon Cutting for Sal’s NY Bar & Grille Scheduled for
Saturday, June 26, 2010
New Italian restaurant opens in Leesburg’s Prosperity Shopping Center
Leesburg, VA (June 22, 2010) - At 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2010, Town of Leesburg
officials will hold a ribbon cutting for Sal’s NY Bar & Grille located at 707 East Market Street in
the Prosperity Shopping Center.
Owner Sal Spata, his wife Doreen, and their family currently own and operate Sal’s NY Pizza in
Broadlands and are excited to expand their business with the opening of Sal’s NY Bar & Grille in
Leesburg.
“Our mission is to use the finest, freshest, quality products and ingredients for our homemade
sauces and special creative meals that we present to you while providing quality service,” said
Spata. “We create traditional Italian foods and non-traditional specialties using recipes from
Italy to America, passed on for generations. Our guests feel a special touch of ‘amore’ when
they enjoy our real New York-style pizza and other New York and Italian specialty items made
by real New Yorkers!”
Sal’s NY Bar & Grille supports the community through various fundraising opportunities and by
purchasing ingredients from local farmers.
Following the ribbon cutting, Sal’s NY Bar & Grille will host a day-long grand opening
celebration, featuring complimentary samples of selected specialty food items, children’s
entertainment, karaoke for all ages and music by the band “Shag”.
