RESOLUTION NO, 63 -313
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY REQUESTING APPROVAL --
OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY BOARD OF SUPER-
VISORS OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION N0, 5 -A
NORTHEAST TEMPLE CITY, TERRITORY LOCATED
WITHIN THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, TO THE
CONSOLIDATED COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City does
hereby declare its intention to commence proceedings, pursuant to
Section 14401 of the Health & Safety Code of the State of California,
for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory located with-
in the boundaries - -of the City of Temple City, and known as proposed- -
Annexation No. 84 -62 to the Consolidated County Fire Protection Dis-
trict of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 2. The boundaries of the territory proposed to be
annexed have heretofore been submitted to and reported upon by the
Los Angeles County Boundary Commission. The approved boundaries as
reported on are as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line of Wendon
Avenue, 50 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 18002 re-
corded in Book 441, pages 38 and 39, of Maps, in the office of
the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, distant easterly
thereon 60.00 feet from the southerly prolongation of the —
easterly line of Lot 4 of said tract; thence northerly par-
allel with said easterly line to the easterly prolongation
of the northerly line of said lot; thence westerly along said
last mentioned prolongation to the boundary of Consolidated
County Fire Protection District, as same existed on January
4, 1963; thence southerly and easterly along said boundary
to the point of beginning.
Containing: 0.000 Square Miles
SECTION 3. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors as
the governing body of the Consolidated County Fire Protection District
is hereby requested to grant approval of said annexation pursuant to
the terms and provisions of Section 14401 of the Health & Safety Code
of the State of California.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 14th day of October, 1963.
