Planning and Zoning Commission
May 7, 2008
Steve Berner, chairperson called meeting to order at 6:30pm at Tiffin Fire Station
Meeting Room.
Roll call of members, present Stephanie Surine, Shawna Colvin, Steve Berner. Absent
Melvin Reeve and Jim Schmidt.,
Motion Surine seconded Colvin to approve Agenda and Minutes of April 2, 2008.
New Business:
Amiee Pitlick, Busy Bee Day Care, inquired on possible Commercial re-zoning request
for property near Day Care Center. Discussion held on possible site changes within the
Zoning Ordinances. Commission recommended that Busy Bee Day Care apply for Re-
Zoning Application to commercial for possible June 4, 2008 Planning and Zoning
meeting if land sale was completed at that time.
Old Business:
Inquiry made on city council's comments regarding PAD Ordinance revsisions
recommendation made by Planning and Zoning at April 2, 2008 meeting. Comments not
available.
Maps with two mile radius around Tiffin annexed area forwarded from:Engineer's office.
Commission members continued to review and discuss Future Land Use Plan. Members
proceeded to set grids for future road improvements. Further review will proceed at June
4, 2008`meeting.
