North King Street Paving Work Scheduled
for June 28 through July 1, 2010
Traffic delays expected on North King Street, between North & Union Streets
Leesburg, VA (June 24, 2010) – As part of the North King Street storm drainage improvements
capital project, the Town’s contractor, Tessa, will be milling and paving portions of Union Street
and North King Street from Monday, June 28, through Thursday, July 1, 2010. During the
milling and paving operations, traffic will be limited to one lane. Drivers should expect delays.
The affected streets are Union Street, from Wirt Street to North King Street, and North King
Street, from North Street to Union Street. Milling and paving work will take place from 7:00
a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day, with lane closures beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. There will
be no parking allowed on these sections of Union Street and North King Street between these
hours on all four days of the milling and paving operations.
