RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
· CONTRACTS FOR SPECIALIZED ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH
T&M ASSOCIATES - MARION STREET / NJDOT STATE AID GRANT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering
services for design phase services for Segment One only, to include field survey
work, base mapping, design engineering, bidding and permitting services, for
improvements to Marion Street pursuant to the NJDOT State Aid Grant Program;
and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Consulting Engineers, T&M Associates, possess the
requisite skill and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, T&M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said
engineering services at a total cost not to exceed $ 28,500.00 a copy of which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from T&M Associates for engineering services for
improvements to Marion Street, Segment One only, pursuant to the
NJDOT State Aid Grant Program at a total cost not to exceed $28,500.00
set forth in T & M's existing contract with the Borough is hereby
approved.
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on January 16, 2004.
