AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Hundred Twenty-Five
Thousand Dollars ($325,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for wastewater treatment
plant construction in Missouri River WWTF Tunnel Service Water Piping Replacement (13223)
in the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21962
with Corrigan Co. for wastewater treatment plant construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said wastewater treatment plant construction is Two
Hundred Ninety-Three Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($293,300.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-One Thousand Seven Hundred
Dollars ($31,700.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars
($325,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for wastewater treatment plant
construction in Missouri River WWTF Tunnel Service Water Piping Replacement (13223) in the
City of Maryland Heights, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions
as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21962
with Corrigan Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for wastewater treatment plant construction in
Missouri River WWTF Tunnel Service Water Piping Replacement (13223) in the City of Maryland
Heights, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 28th day of October, 2020.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2021.
