Office of the Village Manager
Dear Honorable Mayor, Vice -Mayor, and Councilmembers,
After careful thought and consideration, please accept this letter of resignation of my
position as Village Manager to be effective sixty days (60) from this date, as per my
Employment Agreement. I will be accepting a new position with the Office of County Mayor
Carlos Gimenez, which will allow me to continue to serve Miami -Dade County in a greater
role at such a critical time.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity given to me to lead as Village Manager during
such a very difficult economic period. I am proud of the collaboration, effort and
accomplishments of residents, elected officials, and employees during my tenure. I am
grateful for the dedication of all employees and a special mention to my executive staff.
Rest assured that any current Council directives and actions necessary will continue in full
force and the transition will be handled in an efficient and seamless manner.
