AN ORDINANCE:

AMENDING SECTION 2.1-2 OF THE TOWN CODE
WHEREAS, all of the terms of office on the Airport Commission expire on the same year; and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Airport Commission and Town Council that the
terms of office of the members of the Airport Commission be staggered:
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Sec. 2.1-2. Airport commission created.
The Leesburg Airport Commission consisting of seven members and hereinafter called the
"commission" is created. The council shall appoint all members who shall be residents of the town, for
terms of four years beginning on July 1st for those members whose terms are due to expire on June 30,
1996, as setforth in Resolution No.94-127 adopted June 14, 1994 of ~he ye~_r ef ~_ppo'_'e~men!, e_-:_cep~_ for

SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage.
