Police Personnel Board
Minutes—March 12, 2015
The meeting was called to order at 12:01pm.
Ten persons attended as follows:

Following greetings, roll call was taken.
New Board Member - Mr. Rob Trowbridge was introduced to the Board and was welcomed by all.
Approval of February 5, 2015 minutes
It was moved by Dillon and seconded by Burton that the minutes for the February 5th meeting be approved. The
motion was carried unanimously.
Testing Update – Lt. Stiefermann announced that a total of 24 applicants were tested for Communications positions and
a total of 34 applicants were tested for police officer positions.
Hiring Process – Chief Schroeder went over the procedures of the hiring process for police officers and communications
positions for the new board members present.
Chief Schroder announced that there are four positions available currently for Police Officer, one Communications
Operator, and one Veterinary position.
Veterinary position – Lt. Stiefermann announced that in addition to the police officer and communication applicants,
there were a total of 9 applications received for the open veterinary position. Chief Schroeder explained the normal
procedures taken during the interviewing and background stage of the hiring process for this position. Chief Schroeder
invited any Board members that were interested to participate with the interview process.
Closed Session (See Closed Session minutes for details)
A motion was made by Ms. Dillon and seconded by Mr. Bledsoe for the Police Personnel Board to go into closed session
pursuant to RSMo. 610-021; the motion passed. (Chief Schroeder, Lt. Stiefermann, and Sarah Trittler remained for the
ensuing discussion.) Roll call vote was as follows:

Kelly Dillon –yes Bill Burton – yes Rob Trowbridge - yes
A motion was made by Ms. Dillon and seconded by Mr. Bledsoe for the Police Personnel Board to come out of closed
session at 1:25pm; the motion passed. Roll call was as follows:

Kelly Dillon –yes Bill Burton – yes Rob Trowbridge – yes
Next meeting date – The next meeting is April 2, 2015.
