AN ORDINANCE:
PRESENTED September 26,
95-0-25 ADOPTED September 26,
AMENDING SECTION 14-2 OF THE LEESBURG TOWN CODE
REGARDING FLEEING FROM AN OFFICER
THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Chapter 14, Section 14-2 of the Leesburg Town Code is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Sec. 14-2. Fleeing from an officer.
If any person without just cause knowingly d~l flees from any police officer legally engaged in
the performance or discharge of his duties, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor·
