Home My Public Portal About2981-1975 - ORDINANCE FIXING ANNUAL SALARIES OF ALL ELECTED OFFICERSORDINANCE NO. 2981-1975 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL SALARIES OF ALL ELECTED OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, IfIDIANA, PAYABLE FROM THE GENERAL FUND, EFFEC- TIVE AT THE COMMENCEfiENT OF THE TERMS OF SUCH OFFICERS SUCCEEDING THE GENERAL ELECTION OF 1975, AS PROVIDED FOR BY CHAPTER 107 OF THE ACTS OF 1959. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana; SECTION 1. The annual salaries of the Mayor, the City Judge, the City Clerk and each member of the Common Council effective at the commencement of the terms of said officers next succeeding the general election of 1975, payable from the General Fund of said City, shall be in the following amounts; Mayor $20,250.00 - 1976 21,300.00 - 1977 22,300.00 - 1978 23,400.00 - 1979 City Judge $13,000.00 - 1976 13,750.00 - 1977 14,500.00 - 1978 15,500.00 - 1979 City Clerk $ 9,500.00 - 1976 10,000.00 - 1977 10,500.00 - 1978 11,000.00 - 1979 Members Common Council (each) $ 1,400.00 - 1976 1,600.00 - 1977 1,800.00 - 1978 2,000.00 - 1979 SECTION 2. The Clerk is ordered and directed to publish this ordinance twice in a newspaper of general circulation in the English Language in this City, the first of which publications shall be at least 30 days prior to the date of the passage of this ordinance. SECTION 3.
