AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PAYMENT OF ADDITIO14AL COMPENSATION TO
CERTAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, OTHER
THAN GOVERNMENTAL, WHO PERFORM SERVICES FOR THE CITY, WHICH SERVICES
ARE CONNECTED WITH THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER PLANT,
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that the payment of additional compensation to
certain elected officials of the City of Richmond, Indiana, other
than governmental, who perform services for the City connected with
the Municipal Electric Light and Power Plant, shall be as follows:
I. Common Council Members
(each) $1,600.00 per annum
2. City Clerk $ 725.00 per annum
SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the above compensation shall
be for the period for which said officers were elected in the General
Election held in 1975.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and shall be effective as to salaries provided
herein on and after January 1, 1976.
