April 15, 1968 at 8:05 P. M.

Robert Roe'rl, Everett Thies, Arnold Erdman, Gerald Dykhoff, Russell
Bouley, Jr., Ted. Lockwood, Anne Dorweiler and Tom Stevens present.
The minutes of the meeting of March 18, 1968 read. Moved by Everett Thies
that the minutes be approved as read.
Seconded by Tom Stevens
Motion carried.
Thd minutes of the special meeting of April 3, 1968 read. Moved by Arnold
Erdman that the minutes be approved as read.
Seconded by Ted Lockwood.

Roger Schmidt appeared with regard to securing a remodelling permit for the old
Sheridan building. Moved by Tom Stevens that we grant Roger. Schmid.t's request
for a remodelling permit for making a multiple dwelling of the Sheridan building.
Seconded by Arnold Erdman.
Motion carried.
J. A. Baldinger appeared with regard to a building permit for a house and a
pole barn on the Hamer property off of Brockton Lane. Moved by Everett Thies
to grant a permit to Mr. Baldinger for a pole barn_ and house.
Seconded by Anne Dorweiler.
Motion carried.
Moved by Arnold Erdman to give Mr. Baldinger permission to have one or possibly
two mobile homes on this property while he is constructing his house, for a
period of three months.
Seconded by Ted Lockwood
Motion carried.
Don Roderick and Harvey Scherer appeared with regard to securing. a buildikg
permit for a house on property which Mr. Roderick is purchasing from Harvey
Scherer. Moved. by Everett Thies to accept Harvey Scherer's survey and give
a building permit to Don Roderick for a house; to come back with regard to
barn location.
Seconded by Tom Stevens.
Motion carried.
Kenneth Lewandowski appeared with regard to securing a permit to build a pole
barn in a platted area. No action taken as a building of tas nature cannot
be built in a platted area.
Orlo Eisinger and Charles Hoover appeared and as requested by the Commission out-
lined the needs of the police department for a hall or a suitable place to tkke
juveniles, etc. for questioning.
Moved by Tom Stevens that we recommend to the Council for their consideration
that we have a telephone installed in the Village Hall and also in the telephone
directory listing as an altern<<:.te number, give the number of the Village Clerk.
Seconded by Anne Dorweiler.
Motion carried.
Moved by Anne Dorweiler that whereas, as building on the Medina Creekside
Addition has proceeded without provision for the completion of the road
called Medina Circle as required under Section 8 of the Platting Code,
therefore, we recommend that the Village Council require the completion of
said road or require establishment of an escrow fund to insure future completion
of this road before another building permit is issued on this sub -division.

Motion carried.
Arnold Erdman requested a permit for a garage. Moved by Everett Thies to
issue a permit on Mr. Erdman's property.
Seconded by Anne Dorweiler.
Motion carried.
