AN ORDINANCE:

ADOPTED January 28, 1997
AUTHORIZING THE TRUSTEES OFCORNERSTONE CHAPELTO TAKE
AND HOLD UP TO FORTY ACRES OF LAND IN THE TOWN OF
LEESBURG, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 57-12 OF THE CODE OF
VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED
ORDAINED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
In accordance with the Code of Virginia, as amended, Section 57-12 the Town of Leesburg does
hereby authorize the Trustees of Cornerstone Chapel, a religious congregation worshipping in Leesburg,
Virginia to take and hold up to forty (40) acres of land in the Town of Leesburg and such acreage shall
be devoted exclusively, and shall be subsequently so devoted, to a church building, chapel, cemetery,
offices exclusively used for administrative purposes of the church, a Sunday-school building and
playgrounds therefor, and parking lots for the convenience of those attending any of the foregoing, and
a church manse, parsonage or rectory.
