RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AFFIRMING DECISION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND DENYING THE APPLICA-
TION OF BENJAMIN BOYD FOR A ZONE VARIANCE ON
THE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 10520 KEY WEST
AVENUE, TEMPLE CITY.
WHEREAS, on September 5, 1963, Benjamin Boyd, hereinafter
referred to as "Applicant ", filed an application for a zone
variance on the real property located at 10520 Key West Avenue,
Temple City; and
WHEREAS, after notice duly given pursuant to the Temple
City Municipal Code, a public hearing was held before the Temple
City Planning Commission on the Applicant's petition (Planning
Commission Case No. 63 -64) on the 7th day of October, 1963, at
7:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Temple City
City Hall, located at 9664 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, Cali-
fornia; and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing referenced above, the
Applicant and all parties desiring to speak were given an oppor-
tunity to be heard; and
WHEREAS, upon close of the public hearing on the said
October 7, 1963, the Planning Commission denied the variance
requested; and
WHEREAS, within the time prescribed an appeal was filed by
Applicant with the City Clerk against the aforesaid decision of
the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the appeal, a public hearing was duly
noticed and held on December 23, 1963, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. in
the afore - described Council Chambers before the City'Council;
and
WHEREAS, at the aforesaid public hearing held on December
23, 1963, the Applicant - appellant and all other persons desiring
to speak on said appeal were given full opportunity to be heard;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has fully and completely con-
sidered the matter,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby affirm
the decision of the Planning Commission and denys the appeal of
the Applicant for a Zone Variance in Zone Case No. 63 -64 on the
real property at 10520 Key West Avenue, Temple City, and does
adopt the findings and determinations of the Planning Commission
as its own.
