ORDINANCE NO. 9 7 - 0- 2 2
AN ORDINANCE: APPROVING THE VACATION OF PORTIONS OF A
EASEMENT WITHIN SECTIONS 2AB1, 3C, AND 6A
STATION SUBDIVISON
WHEREAS, Richard A. Lanham of KSI Services, Inc. has requested that the Town vacate portions of
an existing sanitary sewer easement within Sections 2AB 1, 3C, and 6A of the Potomac Station subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the portions of the easement to be vacated will be within public street right-of-way upon
recordation of the associated record plats; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will not accept the right-of-way with
easements; and
WHEREAS, the VDOT will allow the Town to enter the right-of-way to maintain the sanitary sewer, if
necessary, in the future.
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Those portions of the 15' sanitary sewer easement labeled as "hereby vacated" within
Sections 2AB1, 3C, and 6A on record plats prepared by ATCS, P.L.C. are hereby vacated.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in effect upon the recordation of the associated record plats
identified above.
