AN ORDINANCE: APPROVING A REDUCTION IN THE BUILING RESTRICTION iLINE
FOR LOT #12 OF THE PROSPECT HILLS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Mr. Matthew Atwell, owner of lot #12 of the Prospect Hills Subdivision, has
requested a reduction in the front yard building restriction line (B.R.L.) from thirty-five feet (35')
to twenty feet (20'); and
WHEREAS, a twenty foot (20') front yard B.R.L. is consistent with the current zoning
district setback requirements; and
WHEREAS, the reduced front yard B.R.L. will not adversely impact the adjacent
properties; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 27, 1998, to consider the reduction of
the front yard B.R.L.
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. A reduction of the front yard B.R.L. is hereby approved for lot #12 of the
Prospect Hills Subdivision as shown on the plat entitled "Plat Showing Revised Building
Restriction Lines, Lot 12, Prospect Hills Subdivision", prepared by Patton, Hams, Rust &
Associates, dated September 5, 1997.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage.
