Public hearing
May 14, 1991
The City of Greencastle held a public hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 1991 at 7:00
p.m, at the GTE building. Present for the proceedings were Mayor Harmless, Cindy
McCammack, Bonnie West, John O'Hair, Sarah Neeb, Tim Conway, Mike Rokicki,
Deanne Gaston.
Explanation was given concerning the application of a grant in the amount of
$245,000.00 for the completion of the Opera House Project from the Community Focus
Fund portion of the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program,
indicating the elimination of spot blight as the focus. Grant information and records
were noted to be available at Main Street Greencastle.
It was noted that the environmental review and building plans and permits are
nearly complete. The local match summary and time table were distributed.
A second public hearing was announced for Tuesday, May 21, 1991 at 4:30 p.m.
at the GTE building.
With no further comments the hearing was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
