Adjournment • F e ! � ° m 2' ' (Subject for Approval) City of Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission Wednesday October 6, 2010 Springmier Library The Chairperson Steve Berner called the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to order at 6:30 pm. The results of the roll call of Commission members present were Steve Berner, Shawna Colvin and Stephanie Surine. Absent were Melvin Reeve and Jim Schmidt Also present at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting were City Council persons'Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert and Mayor Royce Phillips and the City Clerk Ruth Demuth. A motion was made by Stephanie Surine to approve the Agenda as printed and seconded by Shawna Colvin. All actions have been approved by all Ayes unless so noted other and with two absences. A motion was made b9 Steve Berner and seconded by Shawna Colvin to approve the minutes of the September 1, 2010 meeting. Old Business: Commission members reviewed revised Preliminary Plat for Woodfield Ridge Part Three. Discussion held on revisions to Plat and Sub-dividers Agreement. Questions were raised on a Outlot C mentioned on the Plat and Sub-dividers Agreement. Also questioned was the wording in the Sub-dividers Agreement regarding the $10,000 contribution for the park equipment and Outlot A being a wet pond. Recommendation made by Steve Berner to have Developer retain and maintain Outlot B Water Management Retention Pond, correct wording in Sub-dividers Agreement and eliminate the mention of Outlot C on the Preliminary Plat. The recommendation was seconded by Stephanie Surine. Commission members reviewed the map and legal descriptions for the second Urban Renewal Amendment. Discussion held on the areas to be included in the UR amendment. Recommendation made by Shawna Colvin to approve the second 2010 Urban Renewal Amendment Map and the recommendation was seconded by Steve.Berner. Inquiry was made regarding the ownership of the big retention pond north of Goldfinch Dr. Per the Johnson County Assessor's Office, Croell Readi-Mix is listed as the owner of the pond. Suggested that Croell Readi- Mix be contacted regarding maintaining the edges of the pond and possibly dredging out the silt from the pond.
