CITY OF GREENCASTLE
Public hearing
June 25, 1991
The City of Greencastle conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:15
p.m. in City Hall concerning the application to the Indiana Departme of Commerce,
Community Development Block Grant Industrial Development Infrastructure Program.
Present for the proceedings were Nlavor Harmless, Clerk - Treasurer Berrv,
Councilor Tim Conway, Councilor Sue Murray,Jim Wright, Tami Parker, CharlesMilcs.
Ms. Tami Parker explained that the infrastructure improvement would be the
widening of Capital Drive to add a third lane and curbs to aid traffic flow connected
with the expansion of Happico. The Happico expansion represents 150 additional jobs.
Total project cost is estimated to be $51,527.00 with $10,727.00 in local snatch. Ms.
Parker indicated that because federal guidelines will be followed concerning
procurement for the administration, legal and environmental review services, these costs
will be grant eligible, therefore reducing the amount of local match reported at the
initial hearing.
Mayor Harmless asked for any further comments or questions from the public.
There being none, the public hearing was adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
