Aaron’s Inc. Ribbon Cutting for New Leesburg Location
Scheduled for Thursday, July 29, 2010
Leesburg, VA (July 27, 2010) – At 4 pm on Thursday, July 29, 2010, Town of Leesburg officials
will hold a ribbon cutting for Aaron’s Inc. located at 504 Fort Evans Road NE, in the Fort Evans
Plaza II Shopping Center.
Aaron's, Inc., the nation's leader in the sales and lease ownership and specialty retailing of
residential furniture, consumer electronics, home appliances and accessories, has more than
1,732 Company-operated and franchised stores in 48 states and Canada. Founded in 1955 by
entrepreneur R. Charles Loudermilk, Sr., and headquartered in Atlanta, Aaron's has been
publicly traded since 1982.
“My father and I were looking for a business opportunity in Virginia and we discovered that
Aaron’s was looking for a franchisee to open stores in Leesburg and Sterling. After we looked at
Leesburg, we decided to open our first of seven stores here,” explained Drew A. Rosberg,
president of CDR Investments, LLC (owner of the Aaron’s franchise in Leesburg). “We’ve made
not just a business commitment to the community, but a personal one as well. Loudoun
County is where my wife and I want to raise our family. We purchased a home here and moved
in November 2009. This community is a wonderful place and we are excited to have opened
our first store here.”
To commemorate their grand opening, CDR Investments, LLC. will be making donations during
the ribbon cutting ceremony to the Town of Leesburg’s Recreation Outreach to Community Kids
(R.O.C.K.) program and YMCA Loudoun County.
