HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 64-3501 RESOLUTION NO. 64 -350 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DETERMINING A PORTION OF ARDEN DRIVE NORTH OF FREER UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council finds as follows: (a) Ordinance No. 64 -119, being "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Temple City, California, Of Intention to Proceed Under Streets and Highways Code, Sections 8320 through 8324 to Vacate a Portion of Arden Drive North of Freer" was duly adopted on January 13, 1964, and that said ordinance set a public hearing for February 10, 1964, at 7:30 P. M. in the City Hall at 9664 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City, California. (b) That proper notice was given in respect to the holding of the public hearing set for February 10, 1964. (c) That all persons desir g to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing held on February 10, 1964; that there were no protests, either written or oral, made against the proposed vacation as set forth in the aforesaid Ordinance 64 -119. (d) That the City Council finds from all of the evidence submitted, that the portion of Arden Drive described by reference in said Ordin- ance No. 64- 119, and which Ordinance No. 64 -119 and Exhibit "A" of said Ordinance are herein in- corporated by reference, and made a part hereof as though set forth in full, is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes. SECTION 2. The City Council does hereby vacate that certain portion of Arden Drive, north of Freer as shown upon Exhibit "A" of Ordinance No. 64 -119 of the City of Temple City.
