Planning and Zoning Commission
Chairperson Steve Berner called meeting to order at 6:30pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Springmier
Library.
Roll call of Commission members present: Steve Berner, Shawna Colvin, Kate Fitzgerald, and Melvin Reeve.
Absent: Stephanie Surine
Also present: Chris Ball, Mark Petersen and Travis Weipert.
Motion made by Kate Fitzgerald and seconded Shawna Colvin for approval of Agenda as printed.
Motion made by Shawna Colvin and seconded by Kate Fitzgerald for approval of minutes of May 4, 2011
meeting.
Old Business:
Review and revisions of 1998-218 Subdivisions Ordinance were discussed pertaining to Open Spaces and
Storm Water Maintenance requirements. Motion made by Commission member Steve Berner and seconded
by Shawna Colvin to recommend revisions as indicated on the documents, and forward to City Council for
review and include the template of a sub-divider's agreement as an addendum to the revised ordinance.
Ayes: All.
Motion made by Steve Berner and seconded by Kate Fitzgerald to approve the recommendation changes to
the Design Standards and maintenance agreements after discussion held on revisions. Recommendation
also included revisions be forwarded to City Council for approval. Ayes: All.
Chairperson Steve Berner stated he would forward his word documents to facilitate the updating of the
revisions.
It was reported that the four-plex in Woodfield Ridge Pad was being constructed that would require the
installation of the short sidewalk from the sidewalk along Roberts Ferry Rd connecting to the PAD east of
RFR.

Motion made by Shawna Colvin and seconded by Kate Fitzgerald for adjournment at 7:25pm.
