COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, MAY 18, 2015
CALL TO ORDER
The May 18, 2015, City Council “Pre-Meeting” was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
Mayor Carrie Tergin.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Graham Henry, Hussey, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, and Ward
Absent: Costales and Scrivner
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Consent Agenda – City Counselor Drew Hilpert was asked to advise the
procedure for removing items from the Consent Agenda for individual
consideration. Councilman Prather indicated he would be requesting the removal
of two bids: The parking enforcement vehicle and the asphalt products to be
discussed and considered individually.
Bill 2015-9 (ground lease with ALELCO for airport hangar) – Public Works
Director Matt Morasch stated the reason the Council is being asked to suspend
the rules is that the purchaser of the hangar would like to close on the property
transaction. Since the sponsor of the bill would be absent at the meeting,
Councilman Mihalevich indicated he would be willing to make the request to
suspend the rules.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Prather, seconded by Councilman
Branch, and approved unanimously at 5:54 P.M.
