Motion by Nielsen second by Lindaman to approve the minutes of the August meeting. All ayes, carried. Motion by Van Heiden second by James to approve the Treasurer’s report for August. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Van Heiden to approve the following bills for payment. All ayes, carried. Kristie Wildung, Central Iowa Rural Water, presented information regarding the hook up to rural water. Council is still looking at funding options. Motion by Nielsen second by Lindaman to approve Resolution 09-2005-1 a resolution approving the financial report of the City for City streets and parking for fiscal year 2005. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried. Motion by Lindaman second by Van Heiden to approve Resolution 09-2005-2 a resolution setting the appointment of Library Board of Trustees and submitting the public measure to the eligible voters of the City. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried. Motion by James second by Meints to approve Resolution 09-2005-3 a resolution adopting the administrative plan for the City of Wellsburg Housing Rehabilitation Program. Roll call of votes. All ayes, carried. Motion by James second by Lindaman to increase the health insurance deductible for full time employees to $750.00/$1500.00. Ayes: James, Lindaman, and Meints. Nays: Nielsen and Van Heiden. Motion carried. Motion by Nielsen second by James to approve a beer permit for Casey’s General Stores. All ayes, carried. Motion by Nielsen second by Meints to approve building permit for Lance Van Heiden and Merrill Lindaman. Ayes: James, Lindaman, Meints, and Nielsen. Abstain: Van Heiden. Motion carried. Motion by Lindaman second by Van Heiden to approve building permit for Dave Henning. All ayes, carried. Motion by Lindaman, second by Meints to approve Mid-Iowa Concrete quote for repair to Lee Heinrich’s driveway and curb. Amount of quote $2350.00 with work to be completed by October 15, 2005. All ayes, carried. Motion to adjourn Meints second by Lindaman.
