THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. //9
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A TREASURER FOR THE
CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS; PROVIDING FOR THE DUTIES
OF SAID TREASURER; PROVIDING FOR A SALARY TO BE
PAID; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
Section 1.
Appointed Office
There is hereby created the office of Treasurer for the City
of Bel Aire. The Treasurer of the City shall be appointed by the
Mayor with the consent of the City Council.
Section 2.
Duties
The duties of the City Treasurer shall be those as
prescribed by the Statutes of the State of Kansas and provided for by
the Policy Manual of the City of Bel Aire and such other duties as
from time to time may be directed and assigned by the Mayor and/or
City Council.
Section 3.
Salary
The Treasurer of the City of Bel Aire shall be paid at the
rate of $100.00 per month commencing the 17th day of February, 1987.
Section 4.
Repeal
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith,
if any, are repealed. Any section of any existing Ordinance which is
not in conflict herewith is not repealed and remains in full force and
effect.
Section 5.
Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from
and after its publication in the official City newspaper.
