April 18, 1960
The meeting was called to order by Chairmen Fortin at 8:20 P.M.
Those in attendance were Kenneth Fortin, Herb Gaspar, Alex Schumacher,
Anne Theis, Archie Carter, Bruce Kelly, Marvin Maxwell, Tom Rettinger,
and Richard Stinson.
The minutes of the Meeting of March 28, 1960 were read to the members
and approved as read.
The Preliminary Plat of Medina Morningside was submitted and discussed.
The Devolopers stated that the Community Water System was going to be
installed. The question of drainage was discussed and Archie Carter
stated that he had gone over this problem with Bruce Kelly and that
provision had been made to controll the drainage adequately. Street
surfaceing was discussed. It was stated that the Council' had adopted
specifications for bituminous surfacing. Motion by Alex Schumacher to
grant tentative approval of the preliminary plat of Medina Morningside.
Motion seconded by Herb Gaspar. Potion Carried.
Anne Theis will arrange a special meeting with the Council for April. 25
or 27 t6 take up the question of street surfacing.
The question of an Ordinance for Civil Defense for the Village of Medina
was given to the Planning Commission for their considerstion and action.
Kenneth Fortin will attempt to meet with Nr. Smith on this problem.
Motion to adjourn by Herb Gaspar. Seconded by Alex Schumacher. Meeting
adjourned at 10:25 P.N.
