AN ORDINANCE: 2000-0-32 PRESENTED OCTOBER 31:2000 ADOPTED OCTOBER 31; 2000 AMENDING CHAPTER 12.1 OF THE TOWN CODE TO AMEND THE PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN TO RE-GRADE THE CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR POSITION FROM A GRADE 12 TO A GRADE 14 WHEREAS, the town's pay and classification plan is revised each year to meet the competitive market demands; and WHEREAS, in order to maintain a consistently high level of service by attracting the most qualified individuals to perform the needs of each position, additional revisions are needed from time to time; and WHEREAS, specifically the engineering profession is more competitive than it has been for many years and required a review of the public and private sector salary scale; and WHEREAS, the Director of Personnel recommends the reclassification of the position of Contracts Administrator from a Grade 12 to a Grade 14. THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: SECTION I. Section 12.1-13 of the Town Code, classification of town employees by occupational group and pay grades, is amended to read as follows: Sec_ 12_1-13_ Adnntion.
