DISPLAY ADVERTISING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ALL RATES ARE WEEKLY.
Ad deadlines are Friday's at 5 p.m. Any ad changes must be in our office by 5 p.m. Friday's.
Ad copy is subject to publisher's approval. Publisher reserves the right to refuse any advertisement.
Ad make-up fees are charged for the first run (see rate card) and any time the ad is changed.
Frequency discounts are available only for consecutive or alternate week advertising insertions.
No agency discounts.
Cancellation of contract will result in customer being charged full rate, for each ad that has run, retroactively along with a penalty fee of 12%.
All advertising is on a cash advance basis except where credit has been established in which case payment is due within 10 days after the month's billing.
To establish credit, the first four ads must be paid in advance of publication.
All invoices are due and payable in full 30 days from the billing date of the invoice. Invoices unpaid after 30 days will be accessed
a finance fee of 18% per anum.
The Islander News is not responsible for any typographical errors after proofing by customer. No credits will be awarded on ads.
The Islander News is not responsible for printing errors; the condition, or return of any photos, artwork or material left by the customer for
publication; or photo reproduction quality.
The undersigned, Individually and as an authorized agent for their applicant, affirms that all information given herein is true, complete and correct, and the applicant and the agent accept
said terms and conditions as stated herein the date of the invoice, and agree to be bound by same, which shall remain in full force and effect until cancelled by the undersigned or the
applicant by letter sent to The Islander News. The law of the State of Florida shall be applicable, to all disputes arising under, or as a result of this ad contract. In the event The Islander
News retains the services of an attorney to effect collection of any monies owed, whether suit be brought or not, the undersigned agrees to pay all cost incurred, including reasonable
attomey's fees.Applicant waives its privilege of being sued in the county of its residence and agrees that suit may be brought in Dade County, Florida.
The undersigned hereby agrees to be personally liable for all debts incurred by the applicant pursuant to the Application for Credit. The undersigned waives the right to trial by jury in any
litigation arising from the extension of credit pursuant to this application for Credit. The undersigned agrees to keep the information contained in this application current and to immediately
notify The Islander News of all changes.
