AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE
WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available in its Wayne
County Community Activities Grant program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation desires to
submit a grant application to obtain funds that will be used for the cost of
an inflatable movie screen for outdoor movies; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation is hereby
authorized to submit a grant application for a Wayne County Foundation
Community Activities Grant.
2. The City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation is authorized to
accept said grant funding in an amount up to Eight Thousand Dollars and Zero
Cents ($8,000.00).
3. Said funds if awarded shall be appropriated to fund the purchase of an
inflatable movie screen for outdoor movies.
4. No City of Richmond funds shall be required for said grant.
