Dear Pat,
As you know, J. Sproat has been nominated and appointed by the City
Council to serve on the golf committee as the Women's representative.
When the new Mission Statement was adopted, the existing golf com-
mittee members assumed the new positions..
It was our intent that you be assigned to the Women's Association
position until they met and appointed a representative. They have
now done that and Mrs. Sproat is the Women's Association represent-
ative. You are therefore no longer a committee member. This re-
organization of the committee was done by the Golf Committee and the
Council over the past winter.
We appreciate your service and dedication to the committee.
Apparently there has been some confusion about your status. I regret
that confusion, but want to thank you for your interest and efforts
on behalf of the City and its Golf Course. The committee has accomp-
lished a great deal in the past year, including renegotiating the con-
tract and laying plans for the new clubhouse. I hope you are as proud
of these accomplishments as the city is pleased with the progress that
has been made.
