ORDINANCE NO. 2001-0-20 ADOPTED September 25, 2001
AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE VI, DIVISION 3, SECTION 10-188, OF THE
TOWN CODE FOR PARKING FEES FOR SPACES RENTED ON A MONTHLY
BASIS IN THE PARKING GARAGE.
WHEREAS, the adopted budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2002, includes revenue which is
anticipated to be generated by increasing parking fees in the downtown garage; and
WHEREAS, the staff recommended and the Town Council raised the parking fees for individual spaces
rented on a morlthly basis to $50 on July 10, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to increase the discount rate for rental of at least eight spaces; and
WHEREAS, to effect the above changes amendments must be made to Chapter 10, Article VI, Division 3,
Section 10-188 of the Town Code.
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that Section 10-188 of
the Town Code is amended to read as follows:
SECTION I.
Section 10-188. Parking fees for spaces rented on a monthly basis.
The parking fees for spaces in the facility permitted on a monthly basis shall be $50.00 per month for
each space.
