The site generally drains to the 14th Street and 6th Street Rights-of-Way. Once in the R/W, the stormwater flows to an existing drainage inlet at the NW corner of 14th and 6th Streets and into the City’s storm drainage system. Post-developed Condition It is the intention of the current homeowner to construct a swimming pool and associated decking, between the existing house and the westerly property line. Stormwater runoff from offsite, onsite, and the newly constructed pool area will be conveyed to the public Rights-of-Way via a shallow swale and diversion border. Stormwater will be captured and conveyed offsite with no adverse effects to the northern neighbors. Stormwater drains onto the project site from the Western neighbor. Drainage Map The following map delineates the drainage areas that generate runoff from the subject property. These drainage areas are used to size the shallow swale and diversion onsite. Design Runoff Condition Drainage Area = 0.20 ac C = 0.50 Q25 = (0.5) x (9.8 in/hr) x (0.20 ac) = 0.98 cfs Swale and Diversion Sizing Calculation Q25 = 0.98 cfs Channel Slope = 0.1% V25 = 0.603 fps Depth of flow = 0.52 ft Thank You, Coleman Company, Inc.
