Edwards Ferry Road to be Closed between Prince Street and
Catoctin Circle from August 16 through August 30, 2010
Temporary road closure part of the Lowenbach Street Improvements
Leesburg, VA (August 3, 2010) – Edwards Ferry Road will be closed to all traffic between Prince
Street and Catoctin Circle, from Monday, August 16, 2010 through Monday, August 30, 2010,
due to construction work related to the Lowenbach Street Improvements capital project. The
road closure may be extended on a day-by-day basis in the event of rain or mechanical issues.
During the road closure, all traffic will be detoured onto North Street, via either Woodberry
Road or Plaza Street. The detour route is shown on the attached map. Drivers are cautioned to
be alert to this temporary traffic pattern and advised to follow the detour signage.
