APPROVING APPLICATION ZM-159 - OAKLAWN AT
STRATFORD
WHEREAS, application has been filed by Stowers Limited Liability Limited Partnership
for Rezoning ZM-159 known as "Oaklawn at Stratford"; and
WHEREAS, a duly advertised Planning Commission public hearing was held on May 2,
2002; and
WHEREAS, at their regular meeting of June 20, 2002, the Planning Commission
recommended denial of this application to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council held a duly advertised public hearing on these
applications on February 11, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the staff continues to recommend denial; and
WHEREAS, the Council has concluded that the approval of the applications would be in
the public interest and in accordance with sound zoning and planning principles.
THEREFORE, ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
Rezoning ZM-159 is approved subject to the proffers last dated June 10, 2003.
PASSED this 10m day of June 2003.
