In addition to her paintings, which range in subject from portraits and animals to landscapes and still life, Penny’s work also includes book illustrations, murals and faux finishing. She also teaches group and private art lessons. Maggie Steinhilper specializes in dry-brush technique watercolors, but has produced works in oils and acrylics as well. In addition, she has experimented with other media including “found object” art. Her art often captures two of her passions, travel – particularly in the American Southwest - and birds.
