A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO SELL CITY OWNED
PROPERTY TO ALLIANT ENERGY FOR A SUBSTATION EXPANSION
Whereas, The City recognizes that it is a requirement to hold a public hearing in order
to sell any City owned land/property and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that this step is necessary to
properly sell the requested City owned property to Alliant Energy for a Substation
Expansion in the amount of $10,000.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a date for public hearing for 06/26/13.
On the 12th day of June, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-106, A RESOLUTION SETTING
A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO SELL CITY OWNED PROPERTY TO ALLIANT
ENERGY FOR A SUBSTATION EXPANSION. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Kahler.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-106, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING TO SELL CITY OWNED PROPERTY TO ALLIANT ENERGY FOR
A SUBSTATION EXPANSION to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 12th day of June, 2013.
