Dear Kay,
This is to advise you that the City Council confirmed
your nomination to the Golf Course Advisory Committee for a
three year term. Your term commences on February 1, 1992
and continues through the end of January 1995.
I am enclosing a copy of the mission statement for the
Committee. These function as the bylaws of the group and
govern their operation and scope of work. This Committee
is advisory to the City Council and the Council relies upon
the good judgement and advice of these committees to assist
in operating the City. The Committee, by State law and
City Code, has no authority to expend money, enter contract
or agreements. Those are the jurisdiction of the City
Council.
Thank you for your willingness to serve and your
interest in the city government and its programs.
