ITEM #1: Consideration of additions or changes to the agenda
ITEM #2: Open the public hearing
ITEM #3: Request from Hillsborough Residential Associates, Inc. to modify the approved
Special Use Permit for Corbinton Commons to pursue the approved MAHS
model on the eastern portion of the site with 122 units in a different building
configuration than previously approved. The plan also modifies the number of
requested parking spaces. (speakers on this item must be sworn)
ITEM #4: Request from Hillsborough Residential Associates, Inc. to modify the approved
Special Use Permit for Corbinton Commons to remove the requirement that the
approved 69 single family home sites on the western portion of the project be age
restricted and exempt from the Fair Housing Law. It is the applicant’s request to
make these units available to anyone. (speakers on this item must be sworn)
ITEM #5: Text Amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance:
a. Section 5 – amendments to establish a Special Use Permit process for
cemeteries operated by a faith-based organization.
b. Section 6 – amendments to allow events to use pointer signs to direct the
public to their site on the day of the event only.
