RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COLLECTIVE
BARGAINING AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Local 97 of the New Jersey AFL-CIO (Crossing Guard Union)
represents certain employees of the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") for
collective bargaining purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Borough and the Union have negotiated a collective bargaining
agreement, attached as Exhibit A (the "Contract"); and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Bo.rough of Carteret concur that
agreeing to the Contracts is in the best interest of the Borough.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Contract with the Union is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk be and are
hereby authorized to execute the Contract on behalf of the Borough.
