AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING AND REORDAINING SUBSECTION 5.7.1
(DESCRIPTION) OF SECTION 5.7 (R-8, MEDIUM-DENSITY
ATTACHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) OF ARTICLE 5
(RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS) OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, 2003, AS
AMENDED.
The Town Council of Leesburg, Virginia, ordains:
SECTION I. That Subsection 5.7.1 (DESCRIPTION) of Section 5.7 (R-8, MEDIUM-
DENSITY A TT ACHED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) of Article 5 (RESIDENTIAL ZONING
DISTRICTS) ofthe Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as amended be
and the same is hereby amended and reordained to read as follows:
5.7.1 Description
The R-8, Medium-Density Attached Residential District is primarily intended to
accommodate single-family attached, single-family detached and duplex development.
The district is generally appropriate for application in areas designated in the Town Plan
for "Medium Density Residential" and "High Density Resideatial" deyelopment land use
category.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date and at the time of its
final passage.
SECTION III. If any provision of this Ordinance is declared invalid, the decision shall
not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any remaining provisions of the Ordinance.
