Estimated Cost of Implementation Attachments in Addition to Proposed Ordinance 1 The Town of Leesburg, Virginia PRESENTED September 12,2006 ORDINANCE NO. 2006-0-34 ADOPTED October 11, 2006 AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING AND REORDAINING SUBSECTION 6.1.1 (DESCRIPTION) OF SECTION 6.1 (0-1, GENERAL OFFICE DISTRICT) OF ARTICLE 6 (NONRESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, 2003, AS AMENDED. The Town Council of Leesburg, Virginia, ordains: SECTION I. That Subsection 6.1.1 (DESCRIPTION) of Section 6.1 (0-1, GENERAL OFFICE DISTRICT) of Article 6 (NONRESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as amended be and the same is hereby amended and reordained to read as follows: 6.1.1 Description The 0-1, General Office District is established to provide locations where predominantly office uses may be located in a low-intensity manner as a transitional land use between residential and higher intensity uses. The district is generally appropriate for applieation in any area designated in the Town Plan for "Commeroial and Employment" development or in sitaations in \vhieh office development including wO\:1ld serve as an appropriate land transition eet',veen potentially ineompatible ases. The 0 1 Distriet allows incidental support services and retail uses, provided they are intended solely to serve employees of the permitted uses. 2 AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING AND REORDAINING SUBSECTION 6.1.1 (DESCRIPTION) OF SECTION 6.1 (0-1, GENERAL OFFICE DISTRICT) OF ARTICLE 6 (NONRESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, 2003, AS AMENDED. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date and at the time of its final passage. SECTION III. If any provision of this Ordinance is declared invalid, the decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any remaining provisions of the Ordinance.
