Meeting of Cemetery Resources Board

The Cemetery Resources Board met on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Woodland/Old
City Cemetery, 1000 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.
Michael Shellman called the meeting to order.
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made for approval of the minutes from the March 26, 2015 meeting by Mark
Schreiber, Nancy Thompson seconded. Minutes were approved.
Old Business:
There was no old business discussed.
New Business:
The Cemetery Resources Board discussed numerous projects that could be completed with
volunteer help in the Cemetery. Projects such as sealing flat stones, leveling stones, addition of
flowers, general clean-up, and placing American Flags on grave sites for Memorial Day was
discussed. The Cemetery Resources Board scheduled April 25, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and May 16,
2015 as cemetery clean-up days. Sherri Cook is arranging Boy Scout and Girl Scouts to help
with the clean-up and Nancy Thompson has arranged for Darrel Strope to help oversee
restoration projects. Michelle Brooks and Julie Schmitz from the News Tribune were present for
coverage of the meeting.

No other issues were discussed.
Adjournment:
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
