Estimated Cost of Implementation Attachments in Addition to Proposed Ordinance 1 The Town of Leesburg, Virginia PRESENTED September 12. 2006 ORDINANCE NO. 2006-0-38 ADOPTED October 11. 2006 AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING AND REORDAINING SUBSECTION 6.5.1 (DESCRIPTION) OF SECTION 6.5 (B-3, COMMUNITY RETAIL/COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) OF ARTICLE 6 (NONRESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, 2003, AS AMENDED. The Town Council of Leesburg, Virginia, ordains: SECTION I. That Subsection 6.5.1 (DESCRIPTION) of Section 6.5 (COMMUNITY RETAIL/COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) of Article 6 (NONRESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as amended be and the same is hereby amended and reordained to read as follows: 6.5.1 Description The B-3, Community Retail/Commercial District is established to implement the "Community Center" polieies of the To.....n Plan. It is intended primarily to accommodate moderate-size, retail and service-oriented land uses that serve Leesburg area residents. Uses within the B-3 District typically draw from a trade area of 3 to 5 miles. The district is generally appropriate for application in areas designated in the Town Plan for "Community Commercial" development. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date and at the time of its final passage. 2 AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING AND REORDAINING SUBSECTION 6.5.1 (DESCRIPTION) OF SECTION 6.5 (B-3, COMMUNITY RETAIL/COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) OF ARTICLE 6 (NONRESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, 2003, AS AMENDED. SECTION III. If any provision of this Ordinance is declared invalid, the decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any remaining provisions of the Ordinance.
