Re: 1559 McCall Avenue, Lot 9, Block 3, Greystone Village#3 Lease Transfer
Dear Ms. Wagner,
The subject property is currently leased to Thomas K. Burke by the City of McCall,and the property and
residence thereon is being purchased by Hunter and Rebecca Baumgartner. Under Section Three of the
lease there is a provision for a transfer fee of$2,500.00,which may be reduced or waived by the lessor.
The Baumgartners are requesting a waiver of this fee.
The Baumgartners are expecting their first child, and both are full time employees in McCall with the
intent of remaining as permanent residents. Although the qualifications to lease "Workforce Housing"
in this project have been eliminated,the Baumgartners match the profile of the people the project was
intended to serve. They have qualified for a Farm Bureau loan, but have limited additional resources
with which to pay the transfer fee. For this reason,the request for waiver is respectfully submitted.
