AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR DISCRETIONARY FUNDING FROM
CDBG PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret seeks Middlesex County Community
Development Black Grant Discretionary Funds, in connection with the purchase and
installation of an elevator in a property owned by the Borough and located at 64 Cooke
Avenue, for the purpose of converting the building to a child day care facility serving low
residents of the Borough; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret fiereby authorizes the Director of Community Development to submit an
application for discretionary funding from the CDBG Program in the amount
$50,000,00.

certified as a tree copy of the original on
