Estimated Cost of Implementation Attachments in Addition to Proposed Ordinance 1 The Town of Leesburg, Virginia PRESENTED September 12, 2006 ORDINANCE NO. 2006-0-57 ADOPTED October 11, 2006 AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING AND REORDAINING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LEES BURG, VIRGINIA, 2003, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING SUB-SUBSECTION 11.6.1.K (FRONT YARD PARKING AREAS) TO SUBSECTION 11.6.1 (GENERAL) OF SECTION 11.6 (PARKING AND LOADING AREA DESIGN STANDARDS) OF ARTICLE 11 (PARKING, LOADING AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS). The Town Council of Leesburg, Virginia, ordains: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended and reordained by adding Sub-subsection 11.6.1.K (FRONT YARD PARKING AREAS) to Subsection 11.6.1 (GENERAL) of Section 11.6 (PARKING AND LOADING AREA DESIGN STANDARDS) of Article 11 (PARKING, LOADING AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS), to read as follows: K. Front Yard Parkin!! Areas No front yard paved surface used for parking shall exceed thirty-five percent (35%) of the size of the front yard of the lot. This provision shall not apply to (1) any lot improved with a single-family attached dwelling; or (2) any lot with an existing lot width of forty- five (45) feet or less: or (3) any lot in the H-l Old and Historic Overlay District. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date and at the time of its final passage. SECTION III.
