AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION I OF ORDINANCE #03-27
DESIGNATING CERTAIN ONE -WAY STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, in the
County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
Section 1.
That Section 1. of Ordinance #03-27 designating certain one-way streets is
h~reby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
ONE-WAY STREETS:
The following described streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as One-Way
Streets in the direction indicated. Parking on these streets will be permitted on the
sides indicated below.

Bergen Street East Between Edwin SWeet Both
And Salem Avenue
Edwin Street South Between Roosevelt Avenue Both
And Bergen Street
John Street North Between Roosevelt Avenue East Side
And Beverly Sweet
Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof-inconsistent wit the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to extent of any such
inconsistencies.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall be
declared invalid by judgement of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the section,
subsection part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able fi'om the remainder
of this Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication according
to applicable law.
