Virginia, 2003, as amended, by adding Subsections 18.1.79.A (INDUSTRIAL FLEX), 18.1.95.A
(MAILING SERVICE), and 18.1.138.A (UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE), all to Section
18.1 (TERMS DEFINED) of Article 18 (DEFINITIONS).

AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING AND REORDAINING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
THE TOWN OF LEES BURG, VIRGINIA, 2003, AS AMENDED, BY
ADDING SUBSECTIONS 18.1.79.A (INDUSTRIAL FLEX), 18.1.95.A
(MAILING SERVICE), AND 18.1.138.A (UNITED STATES POSTAL
SERVICE), ALL TO SECTION 18.1 (TERMS DEFINED) OF ARTICLE
18 (DEFINITIONS).
The Town Council of Leesburg, Virginia, ordains:
SECTION I. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as
amended, be and the same is hereby amended and reordained by adding Subsection 18.1.79.A
(INDUSTRIAL FLEX) to Section 18.1 (TERMS DEFINED) of Article 18 (DEFINITIONS), to
read as follows:
18.1. 79.A Industrial Flex
Any structure occupied by at least two (2) of the following uses: contractors offices and
shops: establishments for production. processing. assembly. manufacturing.
compounding. preparation. cleaning. servicing. testing. or repair of materials. goods or
products: warehousing establishments: wholesale trade establishments: and offices:
provided however that non-office use shall utilize at least 65% of the total gross floor
area of the site.
SECTION II. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as
amended, be and the same is hereby amended and reordained by adding Subsection 18.1.95.A
(MAILING SERVICE) to Section 18.1 (TERMS DEFINED) of Article 18 (DEFINITIONS), to
read as follows:

Retail sales or business service establishment to facilitate the transmittal and receipt of
letter. bulk and packaging mail.
SECTION III. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, 2003, as
amended, be and the same is hereby amended and reordained by adding Subsection 18.1.138.A
(UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE) to Section 18.1 (TERMS DEFINED) of Article 18
(DEFINITIONS), to read as follows:
18.1.138.A United States Postal Service
The public department responsible for the transportation and delivery of the mail: where
mail is received. sorted and delivered and where postal materials are sold.
SECTION IV. This Ordinance shall become effective upon the date and at the time of its
final passage.
SECTION V. If any provision of this Ordinance is declared invalid, the decision shall
not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole or any remaining provisions of the Ordinance.
